Nick Jackson, Managing Director

Nick founded AHS in July 2018 and started his career with Olympus Keymed, working as part of the team as a field service engineer. He rapidly progressed to management and then subsequent director level positions with an executive history that spans more than ten years in companies including Karl Storz, Steris and Maquet. His most recent tenure was as Managing Director at Starkstrom.

Although he has had extensive leadership experience, Nick’s roots are in field-based engineering and then capital equipment sales roles. This ground up perspective gives him a comprehensive understanding of the modern healthcare market, its challenges, economic drivers and the different needs of all stakeholders and he brings this knowledge and experience with him to AHS.

His focus is to align AHS’s products and services with existing customer’s needs and to develop long term partnerships and solutions that will position AHS as a market leader within the Operating Theatre and associated critical care areas.

Russell Skea, Operations Director

Having started his career as an apprentice working in metal fabrication he obtained his degree in Integrated Engineering and Production and moved into the medical infrastructure industry. Russell has worked in a variety of operational roles within the industry, including project management and design engineering.

He has 25 years’ experience delivering complex projects in the critical care and operating theatre environment in companies including Draeger, Karl Storz and Maquet. His most recent tenure being Operations director at Starkstrom.

Russell is the point of contact for all aspects of engineering, design and technical advice for existing and future business.

His focus is to enhance AHS’s market position through the drive to succeed and become the best solutions provider within this competitive sector
